About Me
I am a native of Menomonie and except for a few years, I have lived all my life in the Eau Claire and Menomonie area. I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. My wife Diane, and I currently live on a farm near Menomonie with our two children.I started my real estate career with Benrud Realty in 1989. In 1990 Benrud Realty affiliated with Prudential Real Estate to form Prudential Benrud Realty. This has been a beneficial partnership giving us a national identity as well as access to Prudential Relocation’s extensive network of affiliated and corporate clients.
As our region continues to attract businesses and our local companies recruit employees from outside the area, this has become an important part of our business. I have taken part in Prudential Relocation training and I am certified in both home finding and selling. Part of helping new transferees requires me to be especially knowledgeable about the schools; medical facilities and other available services so that any special needs or interest that may need to be meet. Helping a newcomer feel comfortable with the area is crucial to a smooth transition. Along these lines. I usually represent buyers as a buyer’s agent in order to more fully represent the buyer’s interests in home selection and especially negotiations.
